Love at First Blush

Went to Urban Outfitters with a friend the other day and I found this baby:

Stila Love at First Blush Palette. 

This is Stila's Valentine's Day 2012 blush palette. Super cute packaging with 3 very pretty shimmery pinks. Guess what... its $4.99. Later I found out this is currently going for $14 at Sephora.com. 75% off Yesss!

Can you see the glitter in the top and bottom colors? 

Top is a lavender based light pink, I think it would be great for the upcoming spring season. Middle is a very flattering light coral pink with slight shimmer, and bottom is a darker pink in the same color family. 

I've only wore this a couple of times, blending the bottom 2 colors together on my cheeks and using the top color as a highlight on my cheekbone. So far I really love the way this blush looks on my skin even though it is a lot more glittery than what I usually wear. The only down side is its lasting power... not the greatest. Or maybe I am just too spoiled by NARS blush haha.

Maybe I'll post swatches after I figure out how to work my boyfriend's fancy camera...

[noob] nail arts

I love doing my nails. Something about carefully painting and designing them is very... relaxing.

Trying to be girly

Watermelon is my favorite summer fruit, so it makes sense to try out watermelon nails.

Absolutely love this blue gradient! The base pale blue polish is a no name polish I got in Japan for $2. I will be sad when i finish the bottle :(

Easter nails! Will do this again for Easter in a month :)

garden

When I have a house with a yard, I want to keep a herb garden.

In the garden I want to have rosemary, thyme, parsley, basil, bay, catnips, dill, lavender, and mint.

I also want a rose garden for my mini rose bushes. Then build a little arch with climbing rose, add some high fragrant roses in it too, since mini roses don't have much of a scent.

The rest of the space should be nice grass so Lumi would have lots of space to run around and play fetch.
